Ryan T. Edwards

Ryan Edwards has been in practice since 2001. His focus is on the defense of premises liability cases along with personal injury matters. Mr. Edwards has tried numerous cases to verdict before judges and juries, been involved in numerous appeals, and has practiced at all levels of the Maryland court system, as well as tried cases in the District of Columbia. While the bulk of Mr. Edwards’ trial experience is in the realm of personal injury and premises liability cases, he also has handled cases dealing with contract issues, estate and probate matters, and criminal cases.

Ryan was born and raised in Maryland. Ryan attended Good Counsel High School in Wheaton and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Business and a BA in History. While attending law school at The Catholic University of America, Ryan began as a law clerk with McCarthy & Costello, LLP in Lanham, Maryland. Upon graduation, Ryan began practice with McCarthy & Costello, LLP. Continuing his practice with the law firm of John FX Costello & Associates, LLC, Ryan has been a Partner with Costello & Edwards, LLC since 2011.

Ryan lives in Severna Park, Maryland with his wife Beth, an ESOL teacher, and their two children, Leo and Violet. When not going to youth ice hockey, basketball and field hockey games, Ryan and his family enjoy hiking, visiting beaches and trying unsuccessfully to keep a clean house.
